Stella V. Radulescu Stella V. Radulescu, Lecturer in French, received her M.A. and Ph.D. in French from the University of Bucharest. She also holds an M.A. in French from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her particular area of interest is twentieth-century French literature, and she has presented scholarly papers on Camus, Ionesco, Saint-John Perse, Anne Hébert, Beckett. She teaches language and literature classes and is in charge of the "Atelier d'écriture" (a drop-in "clinic" for 200 and 300 level French students). Prior to teaching at Northwestern University, she lectured in French at the University of Illinois at Chicago and at Loyola University Chicago. She has published poetry in a variety of international literary magazines, including Pleiades, Seneca Review, California Quarterly, Visions, Sulphur River Review, Plainsong Review. She is the author of four collections of poetry, My Dream Has Red Fingers (2000), From Heaven with Love (2002), Self Portrait In Blue (2004), and Last Call (2005). Her poems in French were published in Belgium (Inédit Nouveau), France (Poésie sur Seine, Florilège, Comme en Poésie), Luxembourg (Cahiers de Poésie), Québec (Passerelle). She has received the grand prize for free verse poetry in the 2006, Poésie sur Seine, International French Language Poetry Competition.
