Aude Raymond

Aude Raymond, Senior Lecturer in French, received an MA in French literature from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she also taught French. She was born in the east of France and has also lived in the Paris area, in Lyon and Normandy, where she completed a Masters' Degree in Sports Management at the University of Caen. Her interests are in technology-enhanced language learning and inter-cultural issues.

 

Aude is the French Placement and Proficiency Adviser. She serves on the Language Proficiency Committee and is an active member of the Council on Language Instruction. Fellow of the International Studies Residential College, she co-sponsors the Table française with her colleague Margaret Dempster. She teaches First Year Introductory French 111, Second Year Intermediate French 121, French 202 Writing Workshop, and French 301 Advanced Grammar. She also coordinates the second-year French course sequence, French 121. Aude Raymond received the 2013 CLI Excellence in Foreign Language Teaching Award.
