Christiane Rey

Christiane Rey, Senior Lecturer in French, was educated in Belgium. She holds a Law degree from the University of Liège, Belgium, and a M.A. from Northeastern Illinois University. She coordinates 125, Intensive Intermediate French, and teaches first-, second- and third-year French. With several colleagues, she organizes meetings of the Cercle Francophone. She is also a fellow at Hobart House, Women's Residential College.

Christiane is co-founder of Seeding the Snow, a journal of writing and artwork by women about the Midwestern landscape. Her interests include writing, art making, music and prairie restoration. She has two homeschooled daughters.
