Gennifer Gates-Bussey moved to Chicago from Detroit. She graduated in 2005 with a BA in Art History from Wayne State University. She is pursuing a MS in Public Services from DePaul University. While in Detroit she was employed with Wayne State's Library System and School of Medicine. Gennifer enjoys working with animals and has volunteered with SASHA Farm, Michigan Humane Society, and even created her own non-profit before leaving Detroit called Neighborkitties. In her spare time, Gennifer enjoys playing Wii, baking, and watching movies with her husband and their two dogs and three cats.
