François Blumenfeld-Kouchner François Blumenfeld-Kouchner studied literature and philosophy at the Universities of Paris-Sorbonne, St. Andrews, Aberdeen and at Trinity College Dublin before coming to Northwestern. His dissertation traces the genealogy of the concept of simulacrum in literature, philosophy and the visual arts through Greek antiquity, the Eighteenth century, and modern France. Subsidiary interests include interdisciplinary studies (especially between sciences, mathematics, and the humanities), volunteering and public health, and poetry. |
