Katia Gottin

Katia Gottin is a Ph.D Candidate in the department of French and Italian. She holds a Maitrise from Universite Rene Diderot, Paris VII entitled "La plaie de maman:Les relations meres-filles dans Le baobad fou de Ken Bugul, Metisse blanche de Kim Lefevre et Lucy de Jamaica Kincaid". She is interested in Caribbean and Oceanic literature, hermeneutics, the act of reading and postcolonial theory.
