Stephanie Silvestre is a sixth-year graduate student in French with research interests in French and Francophone literatures, cultures and films, with an emphasis on the French Caribbean region, especially youth and urban culture and migration/exile narratives from the French Caribbean diaspora. She is also interested in the diasporic Caribbean communities located in North America (especially South Florida).

 

She has an MA from the University of Miami, a Maîtrise from the University of Paris-VII and a Licence from the University of Cergy-Pontoise.
